五、性状：无色结晶或白色结晶性粉末。无臭。稍有潮解性。相对密度1.915g/cm3，熔点60℃。易溶于水。不溶于乙醇。100℃以下加热，可溶于结晶水形成一水盐。加热至100℃失去结晶水而成无水物，继续加热则变为偏磷酸钠。
六、用途：缓冲剂、品质改良剂、乳化剂、营养增补剂、增效剂、盐水穿透助剂、糖澄清剂、稳定剂、凝胶剂、禽类烫毛剂。
七、包装： 内衬聚乙烯塑料袋，外套复合塑料编织袋包装，每袋净重25kg。
八、贮存与运输：本品应贮存在干燥通风清洁的库房中，装载运输时要轻装轻放，防止包装破损，防止受潮、受热，运输过程中防止雨淋受潮，应与有毒物品隔离。

5、Character: It is colorless column crystal, odorless, slightly deliquescence. The relative density is 1.915g/cm3 and melting point is 60℃. It is easily soluble in water but insoluble in ethanol. If heated below 100℃, it can dissolve in its’ own crystal water and convert to monohydrate salt. When heated up to 100℃, it’ll lose crystal water and change to anhydrous substances, which will become Sodium metaphosphate if it continues to be heated.
6、Usage: In food industry, it is used as buffering, character improving agent, emulsifier, nutrition supplement, antioxidant additive, brine penetrable agent, sugar clarifier, stabilizer, coagulant and fowl scalding agent.
7、Packing: It is packed with polyethylene bag as inner layer and a compound plastic woven bag as outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg.
8、Storage and Transport: It should be stored in a dry and ventilative warehouse, kept away from heat and moisture during transportation, unloaded with care so as to avoid damage. Furthermore, it must be stored separately from poisonous substances.
